Seriously?!

I can't believe it. I promised myself that I would never put my relationship status on facebook until I was married...I gave in and put up that I am dating Danny. I promised myself I would never have a blog until I was married with kids...I gave in because a certain friend from a couple of classes this past semester who talked me into it.

With my brother being gone in Cordoba, Argentina, it just hasn't felt like Christmas time, which made Christmas shopping almost impossible. I accomplished it finally, 2 days before Christmas, stayed up late Christmas Eve, slept in Christmas day, opened presents and got our long awaited Christmas phone call from my amazing brother, Nathan. He and his companion had both bought 2 calling cards 13 minutes each. They both had decided that wasn't enough so once Nathan's card and ended on us, they went out and bought one more a piece and called us back. He is doing AMAZING! He has lost his sense of humor. He is one of the pickiest eaters and I had asked him what he had been eating. He told us the other day he ate a tomato and onion type soup (which normally would make him vomit) but it wasn't bad nor good. So I made the comment, the Lord gave you the gift of tongues. Joking about how he has been blessed with the ability to eat food he would normally hate. He didn't the joke and was like, Brittney, that's not what the gift of tongues is. DUH! I know what the gift of tongues is, so I explained the joke and told him he had to laugh. He did. What a trooper he is to put up with me. 3 months down, only 21 months left! and only 5 days till I see Danny! Yay!
